The Counter Sales Representative II assists customers by phone and in person, fulfills orders, provides product guidance, and collaborates with sales and warehouse teams to deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Meeting and exceeding customer expectations both over the phone and in person when fulfilling orders and helping with products.
- Refills inventory with additional stock as necessary to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and choice.
- Assists customer service representatives as well as warehouse associates when additional assistance is needed to meet customer demand.
- Understands product capabilities, warranties, usages, and challenges to further educate and serve external customers.
- Ensures counter area and other areas of the store are neat, clean, and always stocked.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and necessary depending on the location.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong external and internal customer service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

- Ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced environment.
- Possess a selfless team player approach.
- Ability to perform warehouse tasks and work with warehouse equipment, including wire cuts.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular and consistent basis.
- Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Preferred
- Experience in the electrical distribution industry.
- Previous experience in the Summit Warehouse is preferred.
